About Museroll
Learn about Museroll's drawing references, art practice tools, and review process for museum artworks.
Start small, with useful material
Museroll pairs short, structured exercises with reviewed visual references. Choose a category, practice a selected skill, or use Surprise Me when you would rather begin than deliberate.
The first version keeps practice simple with Values and Composition studies. It does not ask you to create an account or upload artwork. Loading references requires the museum APIs; once loaded, exercises and timers run in your browser.
Operator
Museroll is operated by Ilia Pakhomov in Czechia. The public address is museroll.art.
What a reviewed reference means
References enter the public catalog only after an offline review confirms their source, media evidence, rights mapping, editorial tags, and delivery details. The backend also checks current rights and the reviewed image identity through the source API before displaying a reference. Changed or ambiguous records are excluded.
Small collections can have genuine gaps. Museroll shows a shortage instead of padding results, loosening filters, or guessing image details.
Practice is yours
Exercises are prompts for making your own study. They are not claims that a reference contains every imagined condition in the prompt. Keep the source and rights details available on each reference card when deciding how to reuse material.
